Beginning Tai Chi

New to Tai Chi or getting started again? Tai Chi for Fall Prevention (TCFP) is a great beginning. It helps to improve balance, focus and become more aware of our bodies in space – mindfulness. You will be instructed in each form and progress at your own speed. Adjustments to the movements can be made to suit each individual’s abilities. The goal is for you to improve your balance and be able to continue the practice on your own. This class is offered free of charge through Age Well.

When: Thursdays, October 5 through December 21, 2023

Yang 24 Tai Chi

Yang 24 is the most popular and widely practiced form of Tai Chi throughout the world. Regular practice of Yang-Style Tai Chi improves general health as the exercise keeps the joints flexible and the bones and muscles strong. Previous Tai Chi Experience would be helpful. Nam Hoa Longevity Tree Qigong

Nam Hoa Longevity Tree Qigong is about the development and use of chi, our internal energy. It is an excellent practice for almost anyone which helps to improve your overall health, body flexibility, balance and breathing.

To have even one Chinese moving meditation form for your use as you age will be a gift to your mind, body and spirit. We will exercise every joint, muscle, bone and organ in our body in a slow and methodical way.

When: Every Wednesday beginning October 4 through December 20, 2023
